It is lighter and stiffer than anything that has been designed before, and its efficient geometry allows it to climb faster, better manage descent and descend with better control than any other semi -Rigid never experience.
The Doctrine has a strong relationship between stiffness and weight, thanks to Felt’s decades of experience in carbon fiber innovation. But most of all, its greatest asset is the quality of perfectly adapted driving. The rear triangle provides a precise level of flex- ibility that minimizes the impact of small bumps while keeping the rear in place for maximum traction. This gives the Doctrine the undeniable vivacity and low weight of a semi-rigid, but with enough cushioning from the rear to rival the comfort of many suspension suspension racing machines.
