A cross country beast. The Cannondale Scalpel-Si Carbon 2 will have you sprinting up the mountains with its ultra lightweight full sus frame and parts spec, making a bike that’s near unbeatable.

The Cannondale Scalpel-Si is one of the lightest full suspension XC bikes ever. The frame is built using BallisTec Carbon for strong, yet lightweight construction. The Ai offset rear end moves the drivetrain over by 6mm. This creates more room for tyre clearance, a wheel that requires no dishing, and a better chainline.

To make it even lighter, the rear pivot has been swapped out for Zero Pivot seatstays that flex slightly to help the suspension movement. A super lightweight Carbon Link actuates the shock and LockR pivot axles keep everything stiff and running smoothly.

Cannondale’s single-sided lefty fork always grabs attention, and not just with its looks. Super lightweight, the Lefty 2.0 Carbon gives direct steering and superb damping to tame the trail. Carbon outers make an even lighter fork. The XLoc Full Sprint remote lockout allows you to lock out both front and rear suspension at the push of a button.

The SRAM XO1/XX1 1×11 drivetrain gives plenty of range to get you all over the mountain with energy for the next. Shimano XT disc brakes give the reliability you’d expect and the power to slow down in the hairiest of situations. Cannondale’s CZero carbon wheelset gives a stiff and direct feel for accurate steering.
