Do it all, and do it well. The Cannondale Habit Carbon 2 27.5” is an epic do-everything full sus MTB for cross country, trail and all-mountain/enduro mountain biking.

For the ultimate stiffness and strength, Cannondale’s BallisTec carbon fibre technology is right up there with the best in the world. The Habit Carbon uses BallisTec carbon, along with SmartForm C1 alloy in the swingarm, to give the bike incredible agility and versatility. It’s light enough to take on the cross-country MTB trails, yet tough enough to handle all-mountain & enduro punishment all day long.

Not only does the Habit Carbon do it all, it does it all well. Cannondale built the bike for pure, simple, trail-ripping fun, which is why the frame geometry puts the rider in a balanced & stable position, with a short stem to keep the steering response high.

The high-spec Cannondale Habit Carbon 2 comes with Cannondale’s own Lefty 2.0 single-sided front suspension with and a RockShox Monarch DebonAir XX rear shock. These give the bike flawless trail-hugging capability no matter how fast, smooth, rough, tight or twisty the course gets. Both the fork and rear shock are connected via a handlebar mounted XLoc Full Sprint lockout control, locking the bike out with a single thumb press for efficient climbing.

The 1×11 speed gears come from a mix of Shimano XT and XTR components, delivering the sublime performance only Shimano’s top spec groupsets can give. Equally impressive are the Shimano XT disc brakes with matching Ice-Tech rotors. Brake as hard as you want for as long as you want – the finned brake pads and aluminium rotor cores make temperature fade a thing of the past.
